Background
D’Vine Worship Ministries was founded in 2003 by Apostle Papy Mpiana as a musical band in Kenya. Initially, the ministry's primary focus was on worship through music. However, as the band grew, Apostle Papy Mpiana realized a need in the church to heal and repair the worship altar which was broken.
Recognizing the deeper spiritual need, he, along with other committed believers, embarked on missionary work across schools, colleges, and universities. As the ministry gained momentum, the need for consistent gatherings to address specific spiritual needs arose, leading to the establishment of weekly Bible Study Meetings, Overnight Prayer Meetings, Singles Meetings, and Couples Meetings. As more people came to Christ, a new challenge emerged— many new believers struggled in their spiritual journey due to a lack of structured discipleship and proper follow-up. The ministry initially encouraged these new converts to integrate into existing churches, but many failed to thrive spiritually due to inadequate support systems.
Following divine direction, D’Vine Worship Ministries Church was officially established on Easter Sunday, 5th April 2015. Over the years, the ministry has grown both spiritually and numerically to the glory of our Father in heaven.
